Girls' Night

For a while I didn't have any female leaders and while it was easy to spend time with my guys on a regular basis throughout the week, for obvious reasons it was difficult to connect with the girls. Another youth pastor in the area was having the same problem. So we planned a girls' night.

We took them out for ice cream, did our nails, watched a chick flick and had a great time.

The next year I was married to Ruby and she happens to really enjoy youth ministry. Even though we had a female youth leader that spent time with our girls, Girls' Night was still something we wanted to do again.

We went our for froyo, crafted hair bows, watched a chick flick, played with our doggies, and served breakfast food. We strongly recommend you show your girls some extra love, especially if they might be neglected due to your particular dynamics.
