Hey friends,
It’s true - we’re still here. In fact, we haven’t left, we’ve just been avoiding you! We LOVE YGC and it’s awesome and encouraging to see people using this site and getting great free resources for their youth ministry. In fact, we want to keep growing and keep building and keep creating.
We’ve run into a few snags:
1) I’m not in full time youth ministry anymore
This is probably the biggest reason that YGC isn’t updated regularly. Before, we were eating, sleeping, and breathing youth ministry. That’s just not the case anymore so it’s been difficult to make extra time for YGC. We’re still in full time pastoral ministry and we still love youth ministry!
2) Our family keeps growing.
So far, we’ve brought three sons into this world! I love it! And ministry to my family comes before the Church and before YGC so unfortunately this just can’t be a huge priority for me right now.
We’ve got a vision for more though!
The truth is, we’ve got some ideas in the incubator and we think they’re developing quite nicely. You’ll start to see some positive changes here soon we hope! In the meantime, I felt you deserved a quick note about what we’ve been up to.
